The Barrey Hotel Restaurant was created over a century ago back in 1880 by the family of the same name. The passion for hospitality and catering has been transmitted and four generations have worked there for nearly 115 years.
Already known for its remarkable morel crust, the Hotel Restaurant continues its reputation when Lucie, grandmother Barrey serves this dish to the President of the Republic Albert Lebrun, in 1933 during a visit to Besançon. Hence the name of the famous "crust with morels Albert!
After many years of work and the succession of several generations, the Barrey family passed on the Hotel Restaurant Barrey to Mr and Mrs Bôle in 1995.
Since 2004 Mr and Mrs Boillon took over the Hotel Restaurant Barrey, they transmit the family and warm values of this hotel, and perpetuate the tradition of tasty morel crust, whose secret was transmitted by Mr Hubert Barrey.
